My camera started as something I took with me everywhere, then became something that could take me anywhere
My photography journey began in 2023 after I graduated university when I decided to travel Northern Africa, Europe, and Sout East Asia. I picked up a second-hand Olympus as a new lens to see the world through. Photography is an art that showed me the beauty in every detail of the world around me, and quickly became my passion.
On returning from travelling back to Bristol, I used photography as a means of getting more involved with the music scene the town is so well known for. I shot festivals, nightclubs, clothing brands, and sports.
In academia I had a much different path, however. I had graduated with a first class degree in mechanical engineering and an award winning dissertation in nuclear science. I eventually found work in the nuclear sector, but the call to adventure was close behind me. By 2025 I was ready to take the leap into full time photography work, so I left my stable 9-to-5 job behind and took the leap into freelance photography to combine my passion of the art and love for travelling.
Since then I have worked with numerous parties, clubs, hotels, and projects, and not looked back. Now, I’m keeping my eyes peeled for the next adventure my camera can take me on…
